What are we excited about streaming this weekend?
Do Revenge (Netflix): After a clandestine run-in, Drea (Alpha, fallen it girl) and Eleanor (beta, new alt girl) team up to go after each other’s tormentors. Do Revenge is a subverted Hitchcock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls.
House of the Dragon Episode 5 (HBO Max): The reign of House Targaryen is on brink of calamity. And after seeing Matt make light work of the Crab Feeder, we just want to know: where is this going? House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, returns with episode 4 on HBO Max on September 18. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Episode 4 (Prime): Beginning in a time of relative peace, we follow an ensemble cast of characters as they confront the re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.
