Forgive us if we’re wrong, but we like Fauda and Jung_E this week.
What are we excited about streaming this weekend?
Fauda – Netflix
From Netflix: Fauda, which means ‘chaos’ in Arabic, launched on Netflix in 2016, and has since become one of Israel’s most well-known series internationally. With this upcoming season, Fauda will become the country’s longest running action series. The series was co-created by Raz and Avi Issacharoff, and is produced by Liat Benasuly and yes TV. Noah Stollman returns as the series’ head writer. Omri Givon (Hostages, When Heroes Fly) is directing all episodes.
Fauda Projected Audience Score: 77.
Why did Fauda receive a PAS of 77?
Streaming This Weekend evaluates trailers based on up to 30 questions and criteria to spot production value in publicly available promotional materials.
We also incorporate trends from the players involved in the movie. How did the last director’s film do? What project did the writers and producers contribute to last? How were the performers received in their last film? All in all, we incorporate 30 data points or more into our evaluation of the trailer(s). Here are a few results we’ve put together with their final audience scores.
Jung_E – Netflix
From Netflix: Year 2194. Humanity’s hope and ultimate weapon: A.I. combat warrior JUNG_E.
Jung_E Projected Audience Score: 74.
That 90s Show – Netflix
From Netflix: Welcome back to your favorite basement. Same Formans, new friends. It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer, where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.
That 90s Show Projected Audience Score: 72.
Bling Empire New York – Netflix
From Netflix: A new cast of stylish Asian American socialites flaunts their fortunes — and fashions — while bringing the drama and living it up in New York City.
Bling Empire New York Projected Audience Score: 61.
NFL Playoffs, Divisional Round – Peacock (NBC), Paramount+ (CBS), ESPN+ (ESPN/ABC), Fox Sports App (Fox)
After last night’s Chargers v. Jaguars Wild Card Round, how can we leave out what’s shaping up to be an exceptionally exciting playoff run? DUVALLLL was down 27-0. Lawrence with four interceptions. Less than one quarter left. Trevor: hold my beer.
We’ve still got Monday Night Football to settle before we find out where everyone ends up next weekend, but we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in the Divisional Round.
Projected Scores: WTH knows? 🤔🫵4⃣🏈❓
