Rob Zombie’s ‘The Munsters‘ Trailer Drops
After a career in horror-inspired music and film (Halloween, House of a 1,000 Corpses, Devil’s Rejects), Rob Zombie has dropped the first trailer for his ‘passion project’ The Munsters, a remake of the 1960’s classic in color.
Unfortunately, the trailer isn’t getting a lot of love online due to its so-called campy low-budget look.
“I knew the Munsters movie wasn’t gonna be exactly high budget. I’m still a Rob Zombie fan, even if his movies are 50/50, but this looks like it would be in the wrong 50. I hope it’ll be fun at least?”
Other fans commented that the trailer “looks very cheap.”
But maybe that’s is intended. Zombie has made no bones about his love for the original show, camp and all.
The Munsters stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa and is expected to hit theaters this November.
D.B. Cooper: Where Are You? drops on Netflix today
On November 24, 1971, a man in a dark business suit and glasses asked a flight attendant for $200,000 and a pack of parachutes. After making a quick stop to collect his bounty, D.B. Cooper hitchhiked his way back up into the sky and jumped out of the plane somewhere over the dense forest of the northwest, disappearing forever.
The story remains one of the most interesting yet unsolved cases in modern U.S. history, still fascinating investigators to this day.
Technically, the investigation is still ongoing, but will it land in the top 10 for streamers this weekend?
