Paramount+ announces Harry: The Interview will be an exclusive offering on Paramount+ in Canada in partnership with ITV.
Harry: The Interview by ITV/Paramount
The 90-minute program, produced by ITN Productions, will debut on Paramount+ in Canada Tuesday, January 10th, the same day Prince Harry’s autobiography ‘Spare’ is published. The book has been billed by publisher Penguin Random House as, “a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief”.
Filmed in California, where Harry now lives, HARRY: THE INTERVIEW, sees the Prince go into unprecedented depth and detail on life in and out of the Royal Family. Speaking to Tom Bradby, who he has known for more than 20 years, Prince Harry shares his personal story, in his own words.

When does Harry: The Interview drop on Paramount+?
Paramount+ slated the interview to drop in Canada on the same day that Harry’s new book, Spare, is published (Tuesday), where most anticipate Harry will air out more dirty laundry about the royal family and what it was like to grow up as a “spare” prince in waiting.
Harry isn’t the first royal to go against the grain. When the Prince of Wales admitted his infidelity to Diana in an interview with Jonathan Dimbleby, it brought the ugly side of royal life into public view. More recently, Prince Andrew’s car crash disaster cost him over $12 million after his interview with Emily Maitlis. And of course, who can forget King Edward – who abdicated his throne publicly for an American woman?
The stakes are getting higher for both parties. Harry and Meghan are no longer on the royal payroll and must find a way to sustain their high-profile lifestyles. And while the Queen may have viewed the duo as a mild annoyance, the King has signaled a much tougher stance; God forbid they begin to look like a threat.
In any case, viewers are going for another deep dive into the Duke’s life and his decision to marry Meghan. But do they want it?
There was mixed response to Harry’s last documentary, Harry & Meghan, with some arguing they should just move on with their lives. But California living doesn’t come cheap, and neither does security.
The ugly side of economics in all of this is is just that; studios have been happy to greenlight projects with anything attached to Harry and Meghan, and given their last special netted over 80 million viewers, don’t expect that to stop anytime soon.
Of course, it means you’ll have to keep those subscription dollars rolling.
Harry: The Interview will be available exclusively on ITV/Paramount in Canada. However, US viewers can get a peek into what may come with Harry: The Interview in Harry’s newest interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 minutes (1/8/2023), also available on Paramount+.
