More human than the human? With a newly dropped trailer for Westworld Season 4, fans of the HBO mega hit will finally find out what all the robots (and humans) of Westworld have been up to since we last saw them in 2020.

Soundtracked to great effect by Lou Reed’s somber “Perfect Day,” the two-minute teaser shows all the characters who made it out of Season 3 in one piece navigating a stylishly bleak future version of New York City.

Though there’s no dialogue for any real context, the trailer does show what looks like a collab between Thandiwe Newton’s Maeve and Aaron Paul’s Caleb. Other characters prominent in the teaser are Evan Rachel Wood’s Delores/Wyatt, Luke Hemsworth’s Stubbs, Jeffrey Wright’s Bernard, Tessa Thompson’s Charlotte Hale, Angela Sarafyan’s Clementine, and Ed Harris’ William.

Officially titled “It doesn’t look like anything to me,” the trailer teases what HBO dubs as “a dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth.”

With audiences last seeing their favorite robots two years ago, the trailer was a welcome sight, as was the announcement of a premiere date. While Netflix has a nasty habit of dropping trailers for long-awaited new seasons without announcing an accompanying premiere date (we’re looking at you, Stranger Things Season 4), HBO wasn’t having any of that malarkey and ended the trailer by letting fans know that Evan Rachel Wood, et al will be returning to HBO Max on June 26th.

With an eight-episode season planned, viewers will have a lot of these violent delights to look forward to, but the question is: Will they have violent ends?

Only one way to find out… Grab your white hat and set your streaming calendars for June 26th!
