What are we excited about streaming this weekend?
House of the Dragon (HBO Max): The reign of House Targaryen begins. House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, returns with episode on HBO Max on August 28. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Disney+): An attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases—must navigate the complicated life of a single, 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode comedy series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
See (Apple): In a far future, humankind has lost its sense of sight. Jason Momoa stars as a father of two children with the mythic ability to see – who must protect his tribe against a threatened queen.
