Coinciding with the release of Stranger Things season 4, Timex has announced a collab for a series of Special Edition watches that will have ST fans flipping into the Upside Down.
Set in the 1980’s, Stranger Things features nostalgia-inducing set pieces and throwback accessories that Timex is hoping will translate into interest for its special edition ST releases.
Timex commented that the collection was “a brave exploration of the Timex archive” that will include three cult classics from the era, including the Timex Camper, the Timex T80, and the unforgettable Timex Atlantis–all with creepy twists characteristic of Stranger Things and its uncanny underworld.
The lineup looks impressive, and Timex has provided public access to its Google Drive folder, which includes a variety of Stranger Things styles and conceptual images, for a limited time.
Shari Fabiani, Sr. Vice President Brand Marketing and Creative Services at Timex Group, commented on the collaboration, stating that “with the Timex x Stranger Things collection, two cult franchises join forces to create a capsule that is intrinsic to this pop culture moment.” She added that “through rich storytelling and ageless design, these special edition styles proudly resurrect one of history’s most expressive decades that transcends through all generations.”
Timex Camper Model: Stranger Things Edition
The Timex Camper has three styles, all of which show the watch face “upside down,” a nod to the show’s demon-filled netherworld. And the watches’ color palettes are pulled right off the screen of the streaming hit. Timex’s official position on the eccentric attributes of the watch suggests that paranormal forces must have overtaken the Camper model some time after its original 1980’s release.

Timex T80 Model: ST Edition
While Timex’s home page provides a much better look at the overall quality of the watch, the durability of the stainless steel bracelet watch is on full display in the promo cuts.
