What’s going on with the Mayor of Kingstown cast? Spoilers
Kyle is a mess and Iris is trapped, but Mitch and Bunny have bigger problems. After a deal between the DA and his criminal colleagues goes south, Mitch is juggling several crises as the city’s gang leaders (including Bunny) are moved from Tent City to another prison (rather than being released as agreed).
How will Mitch make things right with Bunny and the crew now that the DA has pulled back and “house” issues have worsened?
Only time will tell, but there’s another threat on the horizon; Milo and Josef, who are now on the hunt for Horace’s wife and their stolen bonds. We’ve always known Milo and Josef were capable of horrible things, but Charles Baker’s “Horace” drives home how ruthless the streets of Kingstown can be.
Horace’s ending was particularly tragic because he was warned not to mix himself up with Milo in some major foreshadowing early in the episode. When Horace brings a few of the bonds to Milo’s right hand Josef to sell for “pennies on the dollar,” he says, he’s strapped to a chair and beaten to a pulp. Horace, with no situational awareness, still believes he can negotiate with the Russian Mafia capo. Unfortunately, he learns his place the hard way, one finger at a time.
Horace is ultimately killed of course, likely after disclosing that his wife is holding the bonds in his home – something she thankfully has the intuition to anticipate (delivering the bonds to the police after Horace never returns). We last see poor Horace plopped at the bottom of a public pool the next morning, strapped to the same chair he was tortured in. Milo is not the one to play with.

Skinny Pete actor Charles Baker joins the Mayor of Kingstown Cast
Fans of the hit series Breaking Bad may remember Charles Baker as Skinny Pete, Jessie’s loyal companion and one of the only members of the old gang to escape the series alive.
Skinny Pete was a big part of Jessie’s support system. After Combo was gunned down by Andrea’s little brother (Jessie’s last girlfriend), Skinny Pete became the voice of reason in the gang.
Badger was supportive, but it was Pete who kept his head when things spiraled out of control. As Jessie slid deeper into depression after the death of his girlfriend Jane and the countless crimes he and Walter committed, Skinny Pete was his rock. Charles Baker ultimately returned to the role in Netflix’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie in 2019.

Unfortunately for Horace, the ride is over for Baker in Skinny Pete Mayor of Kingstown. But it will be interesting to see Horace’s significance as the series unfolds. Will we learn more about him through his wife as Mike leverages the bonds to catch Milo? We can’t wait to find out next Sunday when Mayor of Kingstown season 2 episode 5 drops on Paramount Plus.
