Stranger Things has been one of Netflix’s biggest hits of all time. Each season leaves fans speechless and anxiously waiting for the next episode. With Season 4 just days away, there are many theories on how the story will progress since the Upside Down Scooby gang seemed to go their separate ways in last season’s finale. The trailer offers some insight into what viewers can expect looking forward to Season 4!
Eleven Is Back With a Bang
From the trailer, fans can clearly see that not only will Eleven have her powers back, but she might just be stronger than ever! While some of Eleven’s scenes might just be flashbacks, her saying “Without you, we can’t win this war,” could be a hint that she will be a major player in defeating the Mind Flayer.
Dr. Brenner Alive?
The common understanding thus far has been that Dr. Brenner was killed by the Demogorgon back in Season 1, but if fans have learned anything from the show so far it’s that nothing is as it seems. There’s a figure in the trailer that sure looks like a blind Dr. Brenner. Big if true, and this could make things interesting going forward!
Stranger Things: Battle of the Universes
Multiple dimensions have been a huge part of the narrative since Season 1, but what about multiple/parallel universes? In the trailer, there are two different versions of Billy’s tombstone, one that says “Billy” and another that says “William.” Does this indicate two universes or a whole new timeline? A burning question fans are dying to answer.
Is “The Clock” the Key to the Stranger Things Upside Down?
Fans have seen the creepy clock in the Creel house pop up throughout previous seasons. While it never really mattered before, seeing it several times in the trailer has fans wondering if it might just be the “something long buried that connects everything” that’s described in the trailer. Could this be the “door to the Upside Down?”
Fans will have to wait until Friday to find out! Seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix now. The first half of Season 4 premieres May 27th with a the second half hitting the streamer in July.
