In 2022, hits like The Northman, The Black Phone, and the original TV series The Office: Superfan Episodes made Universal’s answer to Hulu a serious contender from our perspective. For fans of The Office, just the Superfan run alone makes the platform worth the monthly $4.99 price tag.

In 2023, in terms of original programming that would be considered “exclusives,” the streamer has already ordered a biopic on Lebron James, a film by John Woo called The Killer, and Praise This by Will Packer.
However, despite NBCUniversal seemingly turning the service into a dumping ground for NBC programming like Days of Our Lives (my mom was pissed), the streamer will also continue to benefit from its association with Universal and continue to enjoy exclusive access to films under the NBCUniversal label in 2023 like Megan, The Last Voyage of Demeter, Knock at the Cabin, Super Mario Brothers Movie, Fast X, Strays, and Oppenheimer.

So the ad-free copy is still the budget streaming deal to beat (with Apple, Netflix, and Hulu all raising their prices in the twilight hours of 2022), but to get the equivalent experience of an Apple TV you’ll have to spend $9.99, which puts Peacock back at market norms.

Unlike sites like AZ Movies and Solar Movie, Peacock TV is, of course, offering access to licensed content only, no questionable content or funny business here.

You can access Peacock TV by using your browser. Moreover, Peacock TV has separate applications for different platforms that also work very well. The service is supported on Roku, Firestick/Fire TV, Apple TV, etc. In our opinion, this is the best platform in terms of application support.
